Upon arrival in Varanasi, you will be met by your guide who will escort you to your hotel. After checking in, spend the day exploring the City of Lights. Begin your day with a sunrise boat ride along the Ganges River. Visit some of the city’s most famous temples and ghats, including the Kashi Vishwanath Temple and the Dashashwamedh Ghat. In the evening, take part in the evening aarti ceremony at the ghats.
After breakfast, head to the nearby town of Sarnath. This is the site where Gautama Buddha is said to have given his first sermon, and is now an important pilgrimage site for Buddhists. Spend the day visiting the ruins of the ancient monasteries, the Dhamek Stupa, the Chaukhandi Stupa, and the Sarnath Museum. Return to Varanasi in the evening and relax at your hotel.
Today, you will drive to Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Rama. Upon arrival, visit the Hanuman Garhi Temple, the Kanak Bhawan Temple, and the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. Explore the ancient lanes of the city, and visit some of the other important temples and shrines.
After breakfast, drive to Prayagraj. Upon arrival, visit the famous Triveni Sangam – the confluence of the rivers Ganges, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati. Visit the nearby Allahabad Fort, and explore the city’s many temples, such as the Hanuman Temple, the Akshaya Vat, and the Patalpuri Temple.
Drive to Lucknow today. Visit the famous Bara Imambara, Chota Imambara, and the Rumi Darwaza. Explore the city’s many bazaars and street markets.
Today, explore the city of Lucknow. Visit the historic Residency and the Lucknow Zoo. Spend the evening at the Chowk market, and explore the city’s vibrant culture.
After breakfast, drive back to Varanasi. Relax at your hotel for the evening.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight back home.
To visit the temple, devotees should book through the official website of Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust (srjbtkshetra.org), selecting the slots of their convenience. Offline booking is also possible through the Ram Mandir Visitor Centre in Ayodhya, which is open from 10 am to 6 pm.
